  1. FIELD OF APPLICATION
    1. These general conditions of sale are drawn up in compliance with the existing standards to protect the consumer
    2. The Customer declares to have read and clearly understood all the information he was given during the purchase procedure, to wholly and unconditionally accept these General Conditions of Sale as well as the General Conditions of Access and Use of the site.
    3. These general conditions can be changed by Veneto Shop srl without prior notice.
    4. Each contract will be governed by the General Conditions of Sale in force when the Customer places the order.
  2. SELLER IDENTITY
    1. Seller of the products in the online catalogue on www.venetoshop.com is the company VENETO SHOP SRL, with registered and operational office in Via Roma 68, 35010 Massanzago, Padua, Italy. (VAT and Tax number: 04458660281) Registered at the Padua Chamber of Commerce – Economic and Administrative Index no. 391062.
  3. CONCLUSION OF THE PURCHASE CONTRACT
    1. To send the purchase order the User must first register as a Customer at www.venetoshop.com and then follow the purchase procedure explained by the system.
    2. The purchase order will be fulfilled going through the following steps: 1. When the order is sent, the customer is transmitting a request to buy the product or products selected to Veneto Shop srl. When the order is sent it implies consent (in accordance with art. 10 of the Italian Legislative Decree 185/1999) to receive communications from Veneto Shop, described below, the purpose of which is only to conclude and execute the sales contract. The customer has 24 hours from when he/she places the online order to notify Veneto Shop if he/she wishes to cancel it, calling number 0495797090 or sending an e-mail to info@venetoshop.com. In all cases, Veneto Shop shall check that the goods required are in stock and the accuracy of the request to buy and shall send an email to accept or refuse the order.
    3. The purchase contract entered into by Veneto Shop srl and the Customer is considered concluded with the acceptance in the shape of a confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address given by the Customer.
    4. The confirmation message gives the date and time of the order plus a "Customer Order Number" to be used in all future communications with Veneto Shop srl. The message repeats all the data entered by the Customer who shall verify accuracy, promptly communicating any corrections to be made.
    5. Once the online purchase procedure has been completed, the Customer shall either print or save an electronic copy of his/her order and relative confirmation and also keep the current General Conditions of Sale.
    6. For each order fulfilled, Veneto Shop issues the invoice for the material dispatched which will be transmitted either with delivery of the goods or sent in an electronic format by e-mail to the address entered in the system when the Customer registered. The information provided by the Customer when he/she placed the order is what is used for the invoice. No change is possible to the invoice once it has been issued.
  4. SUBJECT-MATTER OF THE CONTRACT AND ONLINE CATALOGUE
    1. The subject of these General Conditions of Sale are the products in the Veneto Shop srl online catalogue.
    2. The Customer can only buy products that are in the catalogue and available when the order is placed. Veneto Shop srl reserves the right to change the catalogue without prior notice.
    3. Any image depicted with the product description sheet is given purely in support of the description. The colour of the product can differ from what is shown on the screen of your computer which could also be due to the particular way it has been configured.
  5. PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    1. The goods can be paid for by credit card, wire transfer or PayPal at the following conditions.
    2. Whatever form of payment chosen, Veneto Shop srl will contact the Customer to confirm the Order who is kindly requested to give his/her landline phone number on the Order form so he/she can be reached.
    3. Visa -Mastercard -Visa Electron are accepted. The Customer must contact the bank that issued the card if he/she has any questions. American Express and Diners are not accepted.
    4. Credit card security: To guarantee maximum security when paying, online transactions of purchases from venetoshop.com paid by credit card go through a Secure Server that uses the SSL protection system (Secure Socket Layer). This system encodes the digital information so it is impossible for external users to intercept it.

      When actually paying the order with a credit card Veneto Shop srl automatically sends a safe page to the customer (SSL) of the site of the bank that is dealing with the transaction. The customer can enter the data of his/her card on this page (number and expiry date) which is absolutely secure. The data are, in fact, transmitted directly to the Bank, offering maximum guarantee. Unlike what happens in a normal shop where the card details can be seen by the owner, assistant, waiter, etc., online transactions are completely secure because no one – not even Veneto Shop srl – knows the codes of the Credit Cards its customers use. The code is only used for payment; if payment is successful confirmation is immediate and Veneto Shop srl only receives a transaction-confirmed e-mail from the bank.

      No trace of the Credit Card code remains in our files. The customer can see if operations are secure in different ways: receiving a message from his/her navigation programme; checking that the address of the page open is preceded by Https; checking the symbol that appears at the bottom, either on the left or right, in the navigation programme window that displays an image of a whole key or a closed padlock, meaning that SSL is active.
    5. Payment by wire transfer is to be done within 7 days from when the order is placed in the name of "VENETO SHOP SRL" using the bank details sent by e-mail. The order number must be put in the box which requires the reason for payment. When buying by wire transfer, the order will not be sent until Veneto Shop srl receives the transfer.
  6. DELIVERY AND EXPENSES
    1. Unless indicated otherwise by Veneto Shop srl, delivery is by lorry. When the carrier delivers the goods the Customer must check the following: the number of packs delivered must match the number given on the transport document, sent in advance by e-mail; the packing must be whole, not damaged or wet or in any other way altered, even as far as the materials used for closing are concerned (adhesive tape or metal straps).
    2. Any damage to the packaging and/or product or if the number of packs differ, must be challenged immediately, writing 'with reserve' on the carrier's delivery document. Once the carrier's document has been signed the Customer no longer has any right to complain about the exterior characteristics of what has been delivered.
    3. Any problems appertaining to the integrity, match or completeness of the products received must be reported within 10 working days from the date of delivery.
    4. If repeated attempts are made to deliver the material to the address - given by the Customer when the order was placed - without success and the material is not collected from the carrier's warehouse within 5 working days, the order will be cancelled automatically and transport expenses charged to the Customer.
  7. RIGHT TO WITHDRAW
    1. Only the consumer (i.e. the person who buys the products for purposes that have nothing to do with their professional or entrepreneurial business if any) has the right to withdraw without any penalties and without having to specify the reasons, within the term of 10 working days from receipt of the goods, in accordance with articles 64 paragraph 1 and 65 paragraph 1, letter b) of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer code). To exercise said right, the customer has to send a communication to this effect to Veneto Shop srl within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the goods. Said communication must be sent by registered letter with return receipt addressed to Veneto Shop srl – Via Roma 68- 35010 Massanzago (PD) or by telegram or fax, always sent within the aforementioned term of 10 working days and followed by confirmation by means of a registered letter with return receipt within the following 48 hours.
      Once the Veneto Shop srl's Customer Service receives the aforementioned withdraw communication it will promptly explain to the customer the instructions on how to return the goods that must be done within the following 48 hours.

      The right to withdraw is, however, subject to the following conditions: the right applies to the product bought in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise withdraw rights only on part of the product bought (e.g. accessories, etc.); the overall integrity of the goods to return is an essential and necessary condition as regards to exercising the right to withdraw.
    2. As far as the expenses incurred by the customer for returning the goods are concerned, he/she is held to pay only those involved directly in returning the goods to the sender, where expressly established by the contract. Alternatively, if the right to withdraw is exercised by the customer in compliance with the aforementioned provisions, Veneto Shop srl shall refund the sums paid by the consumer including any sums paid as a deposit. Refunding shall be free of charge and in the shortest possible time and, in all cases, within 30 days from the date on which Veneto Shop srl became aware of the customer exerting his/her right to withdraw. The sums are considered refunded within the term if they are actually returned, sent or accredited with a value date that is before the 30-day term.
    3. The right to withdraw is not applicable for goods tailored expressly for the customer. And also for people placing an order with a VAT number.
  8. AUTHORISATIONS
    1. Registering with the Veneto Shop srl site or buying from www.venetoshop.com with the registration procedure, the Customer authorises Veneto Shop srl to communicate non-sensitive personal data (place of residence, telephone number etc.) to the carriers and/or shipping agents and/or usual suppliers that deliver the purchased goods, so as to allow the essential, routine procedure for delivering such goods.
  9. WARRANTY – GENERAL AND SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR THE PRODUCER
    1. If a defect is found with the goods purchased, Veneto Shop will replace the faulty product immediately within the first 7 natural and consecutive days (subsequent to a technical inspection). To take advantage of this service, the product(s) must be sent to our warehouse (only) by carrier, the expenses of which shall be borne entirely by the seller. Products that are found not faulty after the inspection will be sent back. In this case the expenses of transporting the goods both ways will be charged to the customer.
    2. All products sold by Veneto Shop srl are covered by the manufacturer's conventional warranty and, only for consumers, by the legal 24-month warranty for conformity defects in accordance with art.128 and following articles of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code). To obtain warranty coverage the Customer must keep the invoice sent with the goods. The manufacturer's conventional warranty is given as explained in the documentation inside the packaging with the product.

      The 24-month warranty, in accordance with the consumer code, is applied to products with a conformity defect provided the products are used correctly, in compliance with the intended use and as explained in the enclosed technical documentation. This warranty is only for private Consumers.

      In the case of a conformity defect, Veneto Shop srl shall see to restoring product conformity, at no charge to the Customer, by repairing/replacing or reducing the price until the contract is terminated. If, after the manufacturing company has intervened it is found that the flaw is not a conformity defect, the Customer will be charged all costs incurred for checking and repairing by the manufacturing company as well as the transport expenses if incurred by Veneto Shop srl. The time needed to replace or repair the product depends exclusively on the manufacturer's policies.

      If, for any reason, it is unable to return a product under warranty to its customer (repaired or replaced), Veneto Shop srl can proceed, at its own discretion, to refunding the whole sum paid or to replacing it with a product with identical or superior characteristics. In those cases where the product needs to be returned under the warranty, the Customer must return the product in its original packaging, complete with all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories).
    3. Transport expenses: transport expenses shall be paid by the customer after the first 7 days. The goods must arrive with carriage paid and will be dispatched in carriage forward (expenses to be paid by the customer).
    4. Using the service: the products must be adequately packed always in their original packaging. Veneto Shop srl is not liable for damages caused by transporting the product from the customer to the assistance centre. The warranty is not applicable in the case of physical damage to the product or if parts are missing if the flaw is not reported within two days from receipt of the pack (also by email) and, however, before the product is installed. Hence check the integrity of the product very carefully when the pack is received, before attempting to use it.
  10. WAIVER
    1. The customer has no right to claim damages or indemnities, and all contractual and non contractual liabilities are excluded for direct or indirect damages to people and/or things caused by goods purchased from Veneto Shop srl.
  11. COMPLAINTS
    1. If there are any complaints they must be lodged with Veneto Shop srl – Via Roma 35010 Massanzago (PD) or emailed to them: info@venetoshop.com.
  12. JURISDICTION AND COURT WITH JURISDICTION
    1. For all disputes, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial authority is that where the judge resides or where the consumer lives, according to art. 63 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code); in all the other cases the territorial authority is exclusively the Padua Court.
  13. RESTRICTIVE COVENANTS
